Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using the so.LA training and booking platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Service.
2. Eligibility and Parent/Guardian Responsibility
The Service is designed to allow parents and legal guardians to register youth soccer players for training programs. If you are under the age of 18, you may not register an account or register for training sessions independently. All registrations, booking requests, medical information submissions, waiver signatures, and payment authorizations must be completed by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years of age.
By registering a youth player, you represent and warrant that you are the parent or legal guardian of the registered child and that you accept full responsibility for all activities, bookings, payments, and compliance with these Terms associated with your account.
3. Account Registration
To use the booking features, you must create a parent account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process, including your name, email address, phone number, and relationship to the player. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Player Information
When registering youth players under your parent account, you will be required to submit information such as the child's name, date of birth, experience, primary position, and emergency contacts. You are responsible for ensuring that all player information is accurate and kept up to date.
5. Training Sessions and Programs
so.LA offers soccer training programs, clinics, and holiday camps (collectively, "Sessions"). The scheduling, duration, locations, pricing, and age ranges of all Sessions are determined by so.LA and are subject to change. Session capacity is limited and bookings are managed on a first-come, first-served basis.
6. Payments and Checkout
All fees for Sessions are denominated in U.S. Dollars (USD) and must be paid in full at the time of booking. Payments are processed securely via Stripe, our third-party payment processor. You agree to pay all charges incurred by your account at the prices in effect when such charges are incurred.
so.LA does not store or process your full credit or debit card numbers on its servers. All payment card details are transmitted directly to Stripe.
7. Cancellations, Credits, and Refunds
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel a booked Session through your parent dashboard at any time, provided that the registered player has not yet checked into the Session. Once a player checks into a Session, the booking cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Refund Method: When a booking is successfully cancelled, the total paid amount is credited back to your so.LA account balance as an Account Credit (in cents). The platform does not issue direct cash or credit card refunds back to your original payment method. Account Credits are automatically applied as a discount on your next Session booking.
8. Health and Medical Information
For the safety of youth players, you may be requested to provide emergency contact details and medical information (such as allergies, medical conditions, medication requirements, and insurance details). This information is collected solely to assist coaches and staff in administering emergency care if required. You authorize so.LA staff to obtain medical treatment for your child in the event of an emergency.
9. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
Participation in soccer training, clinics, and physical activities involves inherent risks of injury. As a condition of booking and participation, you must agree to the so.LA Liability Waiver during account registration or player sign-up. The electronic signature and consent submitted during registration constitute legally binding acceptance of the terms of the waiver.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service utilizes third-party providers to deliver key functions, including but not limited to Supabase (User Authentication and Backend), Stripe (Payment Processing), Vercel (Hosting), and Resend (Email Notifications). Your use of these integrations is governed by the respective terms of service of these third-party providers.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12. Contact Information
If you have any questions or require support regarding these Terms, please contact us through the official Contact form on the Website.
